I graduated and started work at Chase Manhattan Bank, nicely in time for the October 1987 crash.
My abiding memory from 1986 is Johnny fucking Metgod, the Herman Munster lookalike cunt. I still believe that he cost us the league.

Actually there was a great club in Southend called Chesters (now a bookies)... Paul hardcastle made his first app' ever there and promoted this song about Vietnam (19) ... anyway their pint of lager and lime was a 50/50 split... you didn't want too many of them... Oh Lowenbrau it used to be
